English Fun Day

 

 

English Fun Day was split into three parts:

   

1. Booth Games

We had our student ambassadors, host many different booth games. Students were given a stamp booklet and collected a stamp for every game that they completed. Games included: matching games, ring toss, grouping games, riddles, pictionary. Students had a lot of fun using English to play these games.

  

2. Classic English Books/Movies

Our NETs introduced some classic English stories that have been adapted into movies. Students watched clips from the movie and were able to share their favourite part.

  

3. The 30-Second Challenge

Students competed against each other to read as many high-frequency words as possible in 30 seconds. The more words that they read, and the more clearly their pronunciation, the more points they received. The students with the most points went to a final round and a champion was crowned.
