  1. To equip pupils with an ever-developing ability to use English for communication, learning and critical thinking, enabling them to make judgments and nurture positive values across the interpersonal, knowledge and experience strands.
  2. To prepare pupils for life in the 21st century by meeting the evolving socio-economic demands driven by advances in information technology. This includes the ability to interpret, apply and produce a wide range of materials in English for leisure, study and work.
