English Around the Corner – Healthy Habits (November)
As part of the English Around the Corner activity, students can accumulate more stamps to redeem prizes by asking our NET teachers general questions. Many students were enthusiastic and eager to obtain more stamps so the response was very positive. It was also evident that students made good use of the language learnt from their general English lessons as they could ask our NET teachers such questions like:
“What do you like to do in your spare time?”
“How often do you exercise?”
“What is your favourite juice?”
“When do you wash your hands?”
This activity allows our students to practise their speaking skills and encourage shy and quiet students to take more initiative to approach our NET teachers.
